Effective date: 1 July 2026
1. Summary
Perceptron is built so that you can use most of it without giving us your identity. There are no accounts and no email sign-up. You authenticate with a self-custodial blockchain wallet. We collect the minimum data needed to run the Services, bill them, and keep them secure. We DO NOT sell your personal information.
2. Our privacy architecture
No account, no email. Your public wallet address is your identifier.
Non-custodial. We never receive your seed phrase or private keys.
Transient by default. Stateless inference requests are processed and discarded, not stored. See our Zero Data Retention page.
You control persistence. Personas, workspaces, Studio artifacts, feeds, and domains store data only because you asked them to, and you can delete it.
3. Information we collect
Wallet and on-chain data. The public wallet address you use and the transactions you make. Blockchain data is inherently public and permanent.
Request content. The prompts, audio, images, and other inputs you submit to the Services, and the outputs produced. How long this is kept depends on the feature: stateless inference is transient, while Persona messages, Perceptron Chat, Studio, and Persona workspaces persist until you delete them on the Perceptron App.
Information you choose to store. Persona memory and conversation history, workspace files, uploaded documents, Studio artifacts, Box screenshots, Domain names and site configuration, and Feed subscriptions.
Billing and usage records. Credit purchases, ledger entries, metered usage (model, token counts, audio-hours, characters, seconds, queries), balances, and mining rewards and withdrawals.
Technical data. IP address, device and browser type, diagnostic events, and security signals.
Support and communications. Messages you send us, including through the Telegram bot or email, and related metadata.
Mining telemetry. Hardware tags, node presence and uptime, provider level, and logprob samples collected to verify honesty.
API keys and tokens. Client API keys and bot tokens, stored so your integrations work. Treat them as secrets.
4. What we do not collect
- Seed phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.
- Credit or debit card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses.
- Government identity documents, selfies, or biometric data.
- Your name or email address.
5. How we use information
To provide and operate the Services; to authenticate sessions; to meter, bill, and settle payments; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and dishonest mining; to secure the Services; to debug and improve them; to communicate about the Services; and to comply with law.
6. When we share information
Blockchain networks by their nature, broadcast transactions publicly and permanently.
Messaging platforms. If you use our Telegram bots, Telegram’s own policies apply.
Mining. If you route a request to miners, your prompt is processed on another user’s device. We cannot control a miner’s local device logging, but we do our best to prevent logging by miners.
Legal infromation when required by law.
We do not share or sell your personal information.
7. Data retention
We store information only as long as needed:
Stateless inference request and response content: not retained after response delivery.
Persisted feature data (personas, Studio, feeds, domains, boxes): until you delete it.
Billing, ledger, and mining records: as required for accounting, dispute, and legal purposes.
Deleting your account removes the data associated with your wallet address, subject to legal retention requirements and the permanent nature of blockchain data.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. Local wallet keystores use AES-256-GCM with Argon2id key derivation, and seed phrases never leave your device. Protect your private keys, seed phrase, and API credentials.
9. International transfers
We operate in multiple jurisdictions and may process data where we or our compute providers are located. We protect data transferred across borders, as required by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
